For a beer to be its best, the serving temperature and the right galss for tasting it are important because they enhace the characteristics.
Low-fermentation beers( Lager,Pils,Bock,Ice etc.) must be served cold between 6 and 8°C- a slender narrow glass is therefore necessary to minimze contact with the air`s oxygene.
On tzhe other hand, high-fermentation beers ( ale,Abbey,Trappist,Stout,Weizen) must be served between 8 and 10°C and require slightly flared glasses so that its fragrance can be fully appreciated.
Heartier beers like Doppelbock,Strong Ale and double malts must be served between 10 and 15°C in round glasses.
